We are part of the Port Orange Recreation Department, Adult Activity Center Programs. This club has been in existence since the 1970's. Wilbur Haller, a city employee started this club with a friend and has a long standing commitment to community service in Port Orange. We are a thriving club dedicated to the art form of wood carving. Anyone wishing to participate and learn to carve is welcome. Our members are always eager to help teach new members. We are safety conscience always. Wood carving is a great therapy. We socialize and have a great time sharing what we have accomplished or not.
We are an active club participating in a display at the Port Orange Library. A wood carving show once a year. We have a Christmas party and a party for the snow birds when they fly back north each year. We have a brag about each week to show projects we have finished. We have monthly projects if you wish to participate. Or you can just show up on Tuesday and carve with your new friends.
